The tiny house plans were created in the free version of Sketch Up. You Tube has many video tutorials on how to use this program! It took a few months to finalize the design, and there have been small revisions along the way as we build. Sleeping capacity is 5 with two full beds in each loft and a twin size bed downstairs.
This project started the summer of 2015! We build on the weekends mostly. Work comes to a stand still in the winter and the momentum picks back up in the Spring. We've had a few "inspections" in order to get certified with NOAH. This certification will provide documentation needed to insure the tiny house with Foremost once the build is complete.
8.5'x24' custom ordered trailer. If I could order the trailer again I would have dropped the axles and had the sub floor built in. This would have saved about 8 inches in the loft space. As is now there is just enough loft space.
The Tiny Home sits on a small empty lot next to the main living house, which sits about 100 yards from a pond in Central Mass.
